restaurant with The Orchid Room restaurant offering a la carte dining
at a supplement. There is also exchange dining with sister hotel
Tamarind Cove. Exchange
dining is subject to availability and must be booked in advance.
There is regular live music and entertainment in the evenings in
addition to the TV and video lounge.
The
pool bar with swim-up option on one side serves drinks and lunch
to refresh you during the day. Complimentary watersports plus tuition
include windsurfing, sailing, snorkelling, kayaks and water-skiing.
Tennis (courts are floodlit) is also available with the hotel's
compliments. A free water taxi will take you to sister properties
on the west coast during the day (subject to availability). There
is also a beauty salon and boutique. Early suppers for children
and baby-sitting (at local rates) are available at the hotel.
On
most evenings the hotel provides live entertainment, including calypso,
jazz and other rhythmic music. |
A
number of complimentary facilities include water sports, such as
sailing, boogie boards, kayaking, windsurfing, water-skiing and
in-pool scuba diving lessons (one per guest).
There
are two floodlit tennis courts and a small air-conditioned fitness
centre.
Other
facilities include a Jacuzzi, television lounge, hair and beauty
salon and several hotel shops.
Various
excursions can be arranged through the hotel, including island tours,
fishing, shopping trips, horse riding, helicopter flights and submarine
dives.
Children
of all ages are welcome at Colony Club except in February when those
under 12 are not allowed. During Christmas and Easter, the hotel
offers a fully supervised Kids Club with a daily programme of events
(subject to demand). |

One of the best hotels on the West Coast.
We have stayed at The Colony Club twice. We were married
there in February, 1999 and went back in June, 2000. We highly
reccomend this hotel in general and for anyone planning a
wedding, the wedding coordinator, Karene takes care of everything
for you! The grounds are the perfect setting. The moment you
walk into the lobby you are greeted by a fish pond and the
sound of trickling water, it is so serene. The rooms are very
nice, all have a private balcony with views of either the
pool or ocean. The grounds are immaculately kept and the staff
is impeccable. The only area that they need to work on is
the food. We strongly suggest that you not go with the meal
plans and dine at the many fine restaurants located on the
West Coast. |
