For
two generations, the Morrow family has welcomed their guests with
fine traditional Jamaican hospitality. Peter and Eric Morrow, both
who grew up at Jamaica Inn, continue the tradition to run Jamaica
Inn in the same way, full of elegance and charm.
Jamaica Inn is a 45-room establishment, painted Wedgwood blue is
set in waterfront gardens on a peaceful private cove east of Ocho
Rios. Opened in the early 1950's, the inn became noted for spacious,
elegantly appointed rooms, and first-rate service.

The Inn, now firmly established as part of Jamaica's long tourism
history, has played host to famous guests that have included Winston
Churchill and T.S. Eliot. Noel Coward was known to play the piano
in the lounge, and movie star like Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth
Taylor, who had been staying in the area, would come for an evening.
The tradition of famous guests seeking privacy and sun still continues.
The classical Jamaican Inn is typically Caribbean in design, historically
elegant and graciously serviced. The establishment is certainly
secluded and yet only 10 minutes away from the bustling port town
of Ocho Rios.

and each has a huge verandah.

Inn's grounds. with their carefully tended gardens set on one of
Jamaica's loveliest private beaches. If you are looking for activities
and a lively night life, it is not the place for you. On the other
hand, if you are looking for a place to relax, enjoy a gorgeous

Jamaica Inn's restaurant overlooks the Caribbean Sea and has an
indoor and outdoor dining area providing some of the most breathtaking
views that Jamaica has to offer. Dining here is a most pleasurable
experience with five course gourmet dinners on the terrace, under
the star in the most romantic and elegant ambiance you can imagine
while listening to a variety of dance music. There is a dress code
in winter that requires jacket and tie for dinner. In summer, shirt
with collar and trousers, jacket optional.
The Jamaica Inn has been regarded by many people as among the world's
